Kids! Want to star in your own Bird of the Day video?
Hey kids! Now you can make and star in your own Bird of the Day video! We'll post it here for everyone to learn from.
And you'll receive a free set of these great cards with cool pictures and info! (while supplies last)
Please watch a few of our Bird of the Day videos on this blog first, then start your own!
The guidelines are:
1. For children ages 6 to 14.
2. Pick any bird that can be seen in Pennsylvania, and show it in your video (you can use a stuffed animal, a picture you draw, or a picture from the computer or a calendar page, etc.)
3. Include at least 3 correct facts about your species
4. Include at least 2 challenges - things for your viewers to observe / find out on their own.
5. The video should be about 5 minutes or less.
6. You can say your first name and age on the video if you want. Don't say your last name unless your parent or guardian oks it.

7. Include a still photo of you and the bird, which will be the "cover shot" for the blog post.
8. To submit, ask your parent or guardian to give permission. A file upload button will be available after they enter their permission.
